It has been nine long years since I released my last album. So much of my life has changed in all of that time. Today, I am healthier, I am happier, I am more comfortable in my skin, and I am more aligned with my purpose in life than ever before. I owe a lot of this to the journey of making this album. In my darkest moments of self-doubt and discouragement, I leaned on songs like "It's Not Too Late" and "Knowledge" to get me through. I allowed myself to process the pain in songs like "Stars" and "Whole (Heal Me)." And I used songs like "Better Place" and "Make It with Me" to imagine a new future. I hope this music provides the same healing, comfort, joy, clarity, realignment of purpose to you as it did to me while I made it.
As I shared on social media yesterday, this album would not exist without a community of friends and family who added their gifts and talents to the compositions, recordings, and album art.
